Hi my name is Rev. Derrick West. I am an Evangelist with the Assemblies of God. I now reside in Watertown N.Y with my wife Nicole. I was raised in Florida with a father who was addicted to crack/cocaine. Over time I too found myself in a life of drugs and violence. I sold drugs for 12 years and fell prey to gang affiliation and drug addiction. In my mind there was no escape from the life that I thought chose me. But unbeknown to me, I was being prayed for. And because of that I found my savior Jesus Christ who set me free from gangs, addiction, and sin. I had finally found the way out of the mess I was living in. I am now working with other ministers reaching people with addictions in the city and state. I am also being used by God to bring his word to a dying and lost world.
